ERP and Odoo

The ERP is there, but the work still happens in Excel and on the phone

We implement and tidy up Odoo in blocks (warehouse, quotes, purchasing, expenses), starting with an audit of what already exists.

Who it’s for

For companies that already have an ERP, or will soon, and still do the important work outside it.

Signs you need this

  • Stock in the system doesn’t match what’s in the warehouse.
  • Each project’s margin counts only hours, not materials.
  • Quotes live in loose spreadsheets, with no history of revisions.
  • You’re about to invest in a new ERP or a major change to the current one.

What we do

  1. We audit what already exists, with read-only access.
  2. We design the new process step by step, with the people who do it every day.
  3. We implement in phases, starting with what hurts most.
  4. We keep what works and don’t force change where it isn’t needed.
  5. We train your team and test with real work, such as an actual proposal or bill of materials.

A real case

At an engineering firm with fewer than 10 people, a quote takes a month. In the plan, the steps outside the ERP go from 13 to 3, and the goal is to respond in two weeks. Before we started, the audit showed that 1 in every 7 hours worked wasn’t counted in the cost of any project.

Frequently asked questions

We already have Odoo and it's badly configured. Can you help?

Yes, and that's often where we start. We audit what exists with read-only access and show you what's right and what's wrong. Decisions on what to change come after that.

How long does it take?

An ERP goes in phase by phase and takes months, because we don't stop at the ERP. If the warehouse needs to record incoming goods without anyone writing them down by hand, we build an app that reads the codes and writes straight into Odoo. We start with the block that hurts most. At an engineering firm, the warehouse came first, with proposals and purchasing to follow.

Do we have to give up Excel?

Not always. If a spreadsheet works and your team wants to keep using it, it stays. The ERP holds what has to be in one place, such as proposals, statuses and history.
