Who is responsible

Marta Matos, a self-employed professional trading as Zeno, in Lisbon. For any question about your data: marta.matos@withzeno.com.

What data we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email, message and the page of the site you sent it from. We use them to reply to your request. The site does not store them: they are sent by email to marta.matos@withzeno.com. The sending service may keep a technical log of the delivery for a limited period.
• Call booking: your name, email and the time you choose on the booking page, and the page of the site you came from, to arrange and hold the call.
• Direct email: whatever you send us, so we can reply.
• Site statistics: we count visits and page views without cookies and without identifying who visits.
• Technical logs: your IP address and browser type pass through the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.

You are not obliged to give us this data, but without it we cannot reply. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it to anyone and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Legal basis

We process the data to reply to your request and prepare a possible proposal, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

When the message is not related to a contract, and to keep a record of the contact, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to and following up with people who write to us, under Article 6(1)(f) of the same Regulation. The cookie-free statistics and the technical logs help us see which pages are useful and keep the site secure, also on the basis of legitimate interest.

Who processes the data with us (processors)

• Cloudflare: website hosting, form delivery and cookie-free statistics.
• Resend: sending the email with the form message.
• Google: Zeno’s email and the booking page.

These are United States companies and may process data outside the European Union. In those cases, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and contact details for as long as we need them to reply to and follow up on your request, and for no more than two years after the last contact. If you become a client, the contract periods apply, along with those the law requires for invoicing.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to marta.matos@withzeno.com. We reply within one month. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).

Cookies

The site does not use cookies. The booking button opens a Google page, outside this site, where Google may set its own cookies.
