Construction and public works
Tender documents too long to read with the attention they deserve
For construction companies that bid in public tenders. AI reading of tender documents and comparison of bids after the result.
Common problems and what we do
- One missed clause can cost you the contract
- An assistant reads the documents of every new tender and flags what departs from the company's standard (insurance, bonds, penalties, deadlines, contradictions between documents), with the clause and the page.
- Comparing bids by hand after the result
- Price lists go in as they come, in Excel or PDF, and the comparison table comes out in the format the team already uses.
- Not knowing where you were more expensive
- The table shows, section by section, where the gap to the winner was, so you can get the price right in the next tender.
A real case
At a construction company with fewer than 10 people, we tested both assistants on real past tenders. The first placed the clause whose absence would cost the company the award at the top of its list. The second showed that, in a tender they lost, more than half the gap to the winner was in a single section.
The numbers are calculated by code and every total is checked. The AI only writes the conclusions from them.
